Re:                 Selection for Troweler IV Position

A total of 42,143 persons applied for the Troweler IV position which was originally advertised in the Anchorage Daily News on April 1, 2001.  After all applicants were screened by the “fog the mirror” test, a finalist group of five applicants was selected for further evaluation.  The five finalists underwent an intensive evaluation concerning five attributes that have been determined to relate to Troweler success.   The attached report indicates the rating process that was used.

The highest rated candidate was clearly Hermione Herkimer.  Her finishing school education, brick laying dexterity and military experience with mortar should allow her to fit in smoothly and bond well with our company.  I am recommending her for hire immediately.
